walnut

You thought it, don't lose it.

Jot down the movie someone recommended, the restaurant you walked past, the book you want to read. Walnut puts each note where it belongs and finds the details for you.

Coming soon to the App Store, for iPhone.

Walnut's capture screen: a text box that says “Type or talk…”, a microphone button, and category cards for Movies, TV Shows, Music and more.

How it works

  1. Write it or say it. Two words are enough: “conclave”, “don julio”, “sapiens”.
  2. Walnut sorts it. It figures out whether you meant a movie, a restaurant, a book or a task, and files it in the right list.
  3. The details show up. Poster and year for movies, address and photo for places, author for books, so the list is ready when you need it.

What you write, what you get

conclave Movies Conclave (2024), with poster and rating
don julio Restaurants Don Julio Parrilla, with address, photo and map
sapiens Books Sapiens, with cover and author
buy batteries To-do Stays a task you can tick off

Your notes stay on your phone

No account, no cloud copy, no ads, no tracking. Walnut only sends a note out to look it up, and keeps nothing along the way. Read the privacy policy.
